Since I was a small girl I have always been told that friends should be friends for life, and that I should always treat my friends as family. So based on what I've been told I started building friendships in school and loved my friends like family and more. But as we grow up we figure out that our parents have forgot to tell us an important thing about friendships, which is that some people are not loyal to others , don't value friendship, and they treat their friends in envies and dishonesty. Despite that most people seemed to have that kind of personality, I didn't give up on friendship and I insisted on keeping some friends close to me just like family.
However, my blind beliefs in a friend or a "said to be one" was the slap on the face which made me wake up and realize that I all the friendship experience I had was just a dream.
