1. First, parents should get enough education about everything related to technology, so they would know what are their kids spending all their time doing and to be able to control the use of technology.
2. Second, parents should control their time as much as possible in order to spend enough time with their kids to tighten the familial bonds.
3. Third, parents should communicate with their children, if you want your children to do what you think is right try to convince them that your point is right.
Many other things can be done for parents to take back control but what we all should remember is that are your kids engulf them with love and care, try to understand them and you will find a way back to the control center where you should be.

As you said that their are several sources for obtaining the information nowadays, but I think that the main source for obtaining information for children is the family. The child is born and grown up within his parents so most of the information that the child may obtain is from his father and mother. The child learns mainly how to talk, learns the main norms and values, and prepare their children to enter the society and be social individuals. Parents thus has a great role in their children's life and they should deal with their children in a suitable way and in order for the children to grow up in the proper way.
Nice topic Malak the severe problem is that the parents left their children do whatever they want they just want to be free to continue their work or watch tv without any disturbence and that what makes without any control. parents must be aware of this
