Show and Tell

English is a very important subject especially for students who have it as their first foreign language. However English classes are somehow boring and lack motivation, which made it hard for me and for other students as well to stay with the teacher and concentrate during the session. My English teacher figured out a way to overcome this obstacle. She suggested that every session one of us (the students) would bring something, something we love, any object or even an activity we like to practice for example cooking an easy dessert or anything that won't take a lot of time. But her only condition was to write a 10 lines paragraph to describe the thing we had brought, and in that way it would be "Show and Tell". What the teacher did had motivated us to practice the English language and made the classes more interesting and beneficial at the same time.
